Sign up or sign in
Required during the founding beta to create a new account — you don’t need one to sign in with Apple, Google, or email if you already have an account. No code yet? Apply for founding access.
Required only when creating an account. This beta is not currently available to residents of the EU, EEA, or United Kingdom; the server makes the final eligibility decision.
By creating an account, you agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Apple and Google confirm who you are and hand us back only a stable ID and your email address — no passwords pass through Murmurtale, and we never see anything you write.
Planned public plans
| Where you are | Your words |
|---|---|
| No account (fresh install) | 10,000 words on your Mac, one time — enough to feel the first magic moment before you decide anything. |
| Free account | 10,000 words on your Mac, every month. Entirely on-device; costs you nothing. |
| Pro (coming) | Unmetered on your Mac, plus a generous cloud allowance. If you ever hit the cloud cap, dictation continues on the local engine automatically — never a hard stop. |
Build 23 founding-beta behavior: your entitlement determines whether you can request the private download and records your beta/Pro status. The customer app runs on-device without enforcing a local word limit; Cloud and paid upgrades are disabled and marked coming soon. No credit card is required, and billing and device sync remain described separately as those arrive.

Access and download availability come from the current server-side entitlement, not from a hard-coded beta promise. Questions? We read everything.
